Solomon Systech widens the series of single chip TFT LCD drivers for AV portable applications
– The only dedicated TFT driver series supporting 3.5-inch to 7-inch AV display – Dual MCU/RGB interfaces in SSD2119 fulfilling the latest applications’ requirement
(Hong Kong – 30 Jun, 2008) Based on continuous enhancements in display driver IC technology, Solomon Systech Limited is proud to launch today a series of new single chip TFT LCD drivers SSD2118B, SSD2119, SSD2123, SSD2125 and forthcoming SSD2127 for portable device applications. The complete series is the only dedicated TFT driver series supporting a wide range of AV display sizes from 3.5-inch to 7-inch. It also supports Wide View Angle (WVA) and Dynamic Backlight Control (DBC) technologies, which becomes popular in various AV portable applications including Digital Still Camera (DSC), game console and Portable Navigation Device (PND). While dual MCU/RGB interfaces supported by SSD2119 make it perfect for MP3/MP4 players, IP phones and Digital Photo Frame (DPF, e.g. 3.5″) application.
